Agenda 21 is a United Nations program launched in 1992 for the purpose of achieving global "sustainable development." Couched in those terms, how could anyone disagree - or even notice its impact on America?
The strategy of Federal and State governments is to focus on nudging local communities toward developing so-called smart-growth plans and implementing regulations which appear both “SMART” and “GREEN”, but in reality threaten the lives and rights of every American in ways our Founding Fathers could never have imagined.
The previous three administrations supported this worldwide view (i.e. NAFTA), but President Obama has accelerated this effort, especially when he signed Executive Order 13575 in 2011. His EO established a White House Rural Council, as prescribed by Agenda 21. According to Dr. Ileana Johnson Paugh, writing for Canada Free Press, this council "establishes unchecked federal control into rural America in education, food supply, land use, water use, recreation, property, energy, and the lives of 16% of the U.S. Population."
The DeWeese presentation will fully describe Agenda 21 and the many ways it is "transforming America". MARK YOUR CALENDAR NOW for either March 7th or 8th!

How Does Agenda 21 Affect You?
Agenda 21 hopes to control every aspect of your life...right down to how frequently you flush your toilet. Flush too much? There's a tax for that. Does it rain on your home and half acre? There's a tax for that, too. http://deweesereport.com/2012/01/06/video-update-from-tom-deweese-on-agenda-21/
Private Property Rights under Attack
While Agenda 21 was only introduced in 1992, during the previous thirty-five years the UN made very clear its stance on the issue of individuals owning land:
Land… cannot be treated as an ordinary asset, controlled by individuals and subject to the pressures and inefficiencies of the market. Private land ownership is also a principal instrument of accumulation and concentration of wealth and therefore contributes to social injustice...The provision of decent dwellings and healthy conditions for the people can only be achieved if land is used in the interest of society as a whole.” Source: United Nations Conference on Human Settlements (Habitat I),Vancouver, BC, May 31 – June 11, 1976. Preamble to Agenda Item 10 of the Conference Report.
Think it can't happen here?
Think again. Agenda 21 is already here in the greater Fox Cities area and beyond. There are hundreds of communities in the U.S., including Oshkosh and the Village of Howard, working with the ICLEI (International Council Local Environmental Initiatives: and other NGO’s (non-governmental organizations) to advance the Agenda 21 mission.

While the issues addressed by Agenda 21 are serious (environmental concerns, population growth, food production, poverty, education), the costs alone associated with its proposals may be unsustainable. More important, its proposed implementation of “smart growth” and “sustainable communities” is synonymous with loss of private-property rights and the American way of life.
