Senator Feingold will be in Appleton this Thursday morning for a listening session. It will be held at the Appleton Public Library, 225 N. Oneida Street, at 10:30am. This is likely the last opportunity to have your voice heard on the health care legislation before a final vote is taken. If you are as concerned as we all are, please try and find the time to make it to this session.
The Senate vote will be extremely tight and if only one Senator changes his/her vote, the bill will fail. This meeting could make the difference. I hope to see you there!

It's already a stripped down shell....but that was the game plan, right?
Vinnie- To my knowledge, there was not that much that was stripped out. The only major item was publically funded abortions, that will be added later. There are many dangerous item in theis bill. Federal Government will have access to your checking account,. Illegal Aliens will not have to pay any income taxes, so in effect, they get it for free. Rationing, mandatory enrolment or you get a visit by the IRS. The list goes on and on. Please show up to this and tell him "Hell No".
I can't make it but tell Feingold to get the heck off the porch...We don't want any of his Obama "Hellth Plan" and publicly funded abortions. And tell him we don't want any Muslim Terrorists brought back from Guantanamo...Are these Senators, Congressmen, President and Czars freakin crazy...No doubt about it !
I would love to be in this one but made a commitment to hear Mr. Petri the same day in Wautoma. Will be praying for a good number of people to let Mr. Feingold know how we feel about this healthcare they are planning to pass.
God bless.
Showing up and screaming "Hell No" doesn't solve anything. The system is broken. Reform ideas abound. Even Paul Ryan supports measures which would provide all Americans with affordable health care. Doing nothing is a poor solution. I'm tired of the insurance industry's stranglehold. And read Feingold's position before you go to the meeting with a closed mind. http://feingold.senate.gov/healthreform.html
I work until 11:00 AM but I want my voice heard. I can be there around 11:30. How long will the Senator be there?
I have written the Senator several times and have received only "canned" answers. I want to hear him speak on this piece of legislation that is being conducted behind closed doors. We were promised by our President it would be on CSpan. What happened?
