It's Time To Organize - Will You Do Your Part?

It's no secret that the 2010 elections are going to be the most critical in generations in determining the future direction of our country. Since April 15th of last year you have shown up at rallies, written letters to the editor, and made phone calls to your representatives. We have seen many successes because of your involvement. Now it's time to take our rag-tag group of citizens that care deeply about our country and our future and turn that concern into real action.

Gone are the days that we can afford to sit on the sidelines in an election year, waiting for November to roll around so that we can do our civic duty by voting. That is no longer enough. We must, if we wish to truly change the course of our future, we must get active and help to promote candidates that share our views. We must do what we can to elect the people that will truly represent us. Please do not leave this task up to your neighbors or your friends, because they may not speak for you! We must all participate.

To this end, we are organizing two sessions in the coming weeks for you to attend so that we can begin the task of taking back our country. No matter how much or how little you can be involved, we need you to attend one of these sessions.

The sessions will be held on Saturday, February 27th from 10am to Noon and on Wednesday, March 10th from 6:30pm to 8pm. Both sessions will be held at the Vandenbroek Town Hall on the corner of Hwy 55 and County Rd. JJ just north of Hwy 41. At these sessions we will be talking about all of the different ways we can help get the word out this election cycle. If you are comfortable in public or behind the scenes, there will be roles for you! We will keep these sessions brief and informative, but if we want to assert influence now and in the future, we need to come together for this common goal.

These sessions are being run by the FVI and are not in any way affiliated with any party or any other organization

I see problems occurring around the country when good people enter as candidates running against liberals when they do so as independents. As an example, Harry Reid may just win re-election when the Republican candidate splits votes with the independent candidate. We all lose as a result of two good people running against one another.

I suggest Fox Valley Initiative obtain pocket copies of the Declaration of Independence and Constitution of the United States from the Heritage Foundation. I've been giving out copies to teachers and high school children for over a year. Go to heritage.org for ordering information.

We need to pay attention to developing groups of people that know each other,
kind of like the extended family. Government can not solve our problems,
The problem is that the middle class is kept so busy that they do not know and care for each other, so all problems go to government. It does not matter who gets into office, the problem is the overwhelming of the government. Try developing "coffee shops, with small food items" in church buildings. Many people gather at McDonalds to try to develop "community". Our church people have to know each other and have stronger supporting ties to each other.
people knowing and helping each other builds a stronger middle class, this is called "social capital" because it is like having more capitial (money).

Reply to Rick Hood- when thay are no viable candidates running on the Republican ticket, we cannot afford to send more RINO's to Washinginton. Voting for the lesser of two evils is what got us into this mess we currently find ourselves in. Evil is till evil. Dubya campaigned on limited government, lower taxes and christian values. Dubya gave us the Patriot Act (Congress didn't read the Patriot Act either), too many Presidential executive orders to count (stripping away civil liberties and privacy) doubled the size of our Government, more entitlements and a record budget defecit of any president in history.

Many of the things Bush passed into law by themselves were not that dangerous. That is until you get another President who expanded many of the same programs that Dubya started but for more suspicious intent.

The impeach Obama sighn, and debate that has come from it made me think about the impact that the highway billboard had in such a short time. So here is my idea. What if every member of the fox valley initiative all divided the cost of putting up are own billboard? Maybe saying something like, LETS MAKE THE FOX VALLEY A FRIENDLY PLACE TO OWN AND OPERATE A BUISNESS AGAIN, and then please join the fox valley initiative in bold letters. Just a thought. I think it would be a great way to spread the word about the F.V.I , And would probably not cost to much if we divide the cost between all of us.

I am with you Mark, it is a good idea if we can all pitch in for the cause and good of this country.
God bless.

Thanks Wilma. I will be at kaukauna meeting on saturday the 27th. I will test the waters and see how much support i can get for this idea. Offcourse a billboard that says impeach Obama is a little over the top. But i think A billboard that talks about lower taxes and lower spending to help fox valley buisnesses and tax payers mite work. Or maybe a sighn that simply says, TAKE BACK AMERICA - FOX VALLEY INITIATIVE.NET

MR.HOOD, I like your ideas as well, getting copies of our founding documents into as many hands as possible just mite help people remember why this nation was founded in the first place. Our founding fathers shure as heck did not want non stop goverment growth. And non stop attacks on tax payers and buisness ownwers.
